Project Description

While working at Electric Arrow I had the opportunity to redesign the image management section of their CMS (Content Management System) product. Because one of the main complaints with the previous tool was that interactions with it were slow, I used AJAX to make the interface much more responsive while simultaneously adding additional functionality.

The product of my efforts allowed for multiple images to be uploaded at a time and automatically extracted images from zip files, minimizing the pain caused to users during uploads of large numbers of files. It also used AJAX to allow on-the fly renaming and deleting of images. Finally, I integrated an existing Lightbox library to allow for the viewing of full sized images within the context of the main library.
